Curling for beginners and professionals
Our curling season runs from November 19, 2025, to March 15, 2026.
From November 19, 2025, you can once again enjoy traditional Carinthian curling on our two artificial ice rinks at the Karawankenblick Restaurant. Whether young or old, professional or beginner, teams or amateur clubs, everyone will have fun on our fantastic facility. The curling rink was completely renovated in 2017 and is looking forward to welcoming you. Please add your details to our calendar soon. If you are already looking for a rink for the coming winter, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to a wonderful winter at the Karawankenblick with many wonderful moments.

The lanes can, of course, be rented in other configurations or by the hour for curling. Please reserve in advance by calling +43 4273 2447.
Our artificial ice rinks are also ideal for clubs, companies, schools, or amateur teams. We provide the rink free of charge for tournament events.

The renovation and conversion briefly described!
The old ice rink was cooled with rubber mats and was approximately 30 meters long and 8 meters wide. These two rinks were separated by a walkway. The new distributor has a total of seven distributors with 12 connections each and is perfectly installed and insulated. A total of 5,000 meters of cooling hoses were laid beneath the new rinks, and the substructure was equipped with 3cm of insulation to prevent energy loss. The screed completed the construction and protects the cooling circuit. The total area is 250 square meters. The markings and laying the new flooring were the final finishing touches. The renovation was completed on time, and the new artificial ice rink opened as planned on December 6, 2017.
